Clinical definition (Orphanet)

A rare developmental defect during embryogenesis characterized by the association of dilated and hypergonadotropic hypogonadism. Additional features, which vary between patients, may include facial dysmorphism (including prominent nasal bone, beaked nose, micrognathia and ptosis), , progeroid appearance, skeletal abnormalities (such as scoliosis or osteoporosis), collagenoma, and abnormalities including lipodystrophy.

How rare: <1 / 1 000 000 — fewer than one in a million. In a city the size of Kolkata, that might mean on the order of fifteen people.
