Solitary rectal ulcer syndrome (SRUS) is a rare rectal disease characterized by rectal bleeding, abdominal pain, passage of mucus, sensation of incomplete evacuation, straining at defecation and rectal prolapse, secondary to ischemic changes in the rectum.
